I'm an Australian dual citizen, passionate about making evidence-informed information on communication, autism and child development more accessible to families, educators and professionals.
That interest led me to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Autism Studies at Griffith University (Gold Coast), and I am now commencing a Master of Speech Pathology. My academic interests sit across communication development, autism, neurodiversity and inclusive educational practice.
My experience spans autism early intervention, international education and entrepreneurship. This includes work with AEIOU in Adelaide supporting autistic children and their families, and a role as a Health and Sciences Educator at Siam International School Thailand in Bangkok.
Alongside this, I co-founded and scaled a successful Australian e-commerce business, developing expertise in digital marketing, brand development and e-commerce.
I founded Speech Sprout to bring these worlds together. Drawing on my background in autism studies and digital marketing from my entrepreneurship experience, I translate research and clinical knowledge into accessible, evidence-informed content. My goal is to use digital platforms to extend the reach of communication and autism knowledge beyond traditional clinical settings, helping more families access reliable, research-informed support.
what I'm working towards
For the next two years, my focus is clear: completing my Master of Speech Pathology and volunteering in a school setting. This is where I am choosing to put my time and energy, building the clinical training and the hands-on, real-world experience side by side. As I learn through my Master of Speech Pathology, I also want to bring that knowledge straight back into Speech Sprout, turning what I study into accessible, research-informed content that families can actually use.
I am seeking opportunities to volunteer within a school setting to develop a deeper understanding of how communication support, learning support, and inclusive education are implemented in everyday practice.
As I begin my Master of Speech Pathology, I am particularly interested in observing how educators, learning support teams, and allied health professionals work together to support diverse learners. I hope to gain practical insight into the challenges schools face, the strategies that are most effective in the classroom, and how communication support translates into meaningful educational outcomes for students.
My long-term goal extends beyond clinical practice. I really want to create something that can bridge the communication gaps for remote families across Australia who do not have access to allied health services. I have heard from families in remote areas who struggle to support their child's learning through conventional schools and have no access to support services nearby.
This is why I am pursuing a Master of Speech Pathology with a focus on autism and neurodivergence. I want to combine that clinical training with my background in digital marketing, technology, and entrepreneurship to build something genuinely useful for these families, rather than knowledge that stays inside a clinic.
My hope is to bring technology and digital innovation to these families, and especially to parents, through an app or platform where learning can happen anywhere. Alongside the telehealth support a family can receive from a speech pathologist session, AI can help make assessments quicker, visual resources can be offered to help address challenges with learning, and routines and schedules can give children the structure and predictability they need to thrive, so that when they enter a conventional school setting they feel supported and ready. My hope is that even in a remote setting, a family never has to compromise their child's learning because of the challenges they face.
By volunteering in a school environment, I hope to develop a practical understanding of the realities of educational support while building the knowledge and experience needed to contribute meaningfully to both future clinical practice and innovative digital solutions for schools and families.

- Founded and run a research-informed platform that turns autism and speech-pathology evidence into accessible content for parents of young communicators.
- Author carousels on joint attention, gestures, echolalia, sensory processing and language development, reframing deficit-based clinical narratives into something parents can actually use.
- Apply postgraduate autism study and identity-first principles to every post, with claims grounded in current research.
- Built and maintain the full editorial system: concept, copy, design and brand voice.

- Applied a background in digital infrastructure to design session slides and on-screen visual supports, and to create printable AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) resources for families to use with their children at home.

- Helped introduce digital workflows, teletherapy visuals, printable AAC resources and online booking, that have since become routine across speech pathology and allied-health telehealth.
